Professional Acting Classes for:

1. Creative Dramatics for Children - (7-12 years)
Children create their own theatre. Advanced theatre games and
improvisations lead them into creating and using all the elements of
good theatre: plot, character, conflict, etc. Performance Showcase at
the end of the semester.

2. Basic Teen-age Acting - (13-17 years)
Teaches the basics of acting: theory, improvisation, relaxation,
voice, speech, movement, sensory and emotional awareness. A pro-
fessional class for students who want to learn the proper approach
to acting. Performance Showcase at the end of the semester.

3. Advanced Teen-age Acting - (13-17 years)
Scene Study. This class is only for serious teen-age theatre
students who can demonstrate basic acting knowledge and ability.
Class stresses character development, creating and dealing with
objectives, and how to approach a script. Performance Showcase
at the end of the semester.

4. Basic Adult Acting - (18 years and over)
Scene Study. Introduction to acting theory and craft. Through
exercises and simple improvisations, the student will explore voice and
speech, movement, concentration, spontaneity and relaxation. Through
this study the actor will gain confidence, and develop imagination, thus
freeing the actor's instrument with a focus on applying this freedom to
selected monologues and scenes. Performance Showcase at the end
of the semester.

5. Advanced Adult Acting - (18 years and over)
Developing the essential elements of Basic Acting, the student
will apply his basic craft to the more advanced levels of executing a
role. Through selected scenes from famous plays, students will
develop specific working methods. He will learn to deal with
environments and circumstances, be introduced to characterization
and learn the art of rehearsing with a director. Performance Showcase
at the end of the semester.
